Demolition
Because of existing structures, the first step in urban transformation projects always starts with demolition. Before demolition can take place, components such as windows, woodwork or other recyclable materials should be dismantled. Afterwards, the building is demolished by using methods such as implosion or dismantling from top to bottom. The stage is completed once the reinforcement is scrapped and demolition waste is removed. OHS and environmental regulations are important things to consider during demolition. In order to avoid environmental damage during dismantling and demolition stages, antipollution measures should be utilized, such as safety barriers, signalization and irrigation for dust prevention (with water tender).
